Beer yoga lands at Woodward Park City this summer

PARK CITY, Utah — Woodward Park City, Eventful Yoga and Offset Bier are teaming up this summer for the Beer Yoga series aimed at giving the mountain town’s outdoor community a way to stretch, sweat and socialize.

The bi-weekly series runs through Sept. 10, with sessions held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the Subie Shack Deck at Woodward Park City. Each gathering includes a 60-minute, all-levels yoga flow set against mountain views, followed by local craft beer from Offset Bier.

“Beer Yoga is about bringing our community together,” said Lindsey Marshall, owner and founder of Eventful Yoga. “It’s an opportunity to support incredible local businesses like our beer sponsor, Offset Bier, connect with friends and neighbors, and move your body in this amazing summer environment that Park City has to offer. One of my favorite parts is that every Beer Yoga is led by a different Eventful Yoga instructor, so each session brings its own personality, teaching style, and energy. No two evenings are ever the same, which makes every gathering a unique way to spend a summer evening in Park City.”

Organizers said the series is designed for people who want to improve mobility ahead of summer training, as well as those who simply want to unwind on the lawn with a cold drink. The format blends movement with community, giving participants a chance to connect with neighbors while taking in the scenery.

Entry to the event is free. Beers are $5 each, and attendees must be 21 or older to drink.

“Many of our attendees look forward to it as a regular summer activity to enjoy the mountain weather and local craft beer,” said Kristin Martino with Eventful Yoga.

Those interested in joining can attend any of the bi-weekly sessions throughout the summer, with no experience necessary to participate in the yoga portion.
