PC MARC’s new pools open Saturday with a ‘First Splash’ bash

Park City, Utah — Park City Municipal invites the community to celebrate the grand opening of the brand-new PC MARC pools on Saturday, June 6, at 11:30 a.m.

After a full rebuild, the city will welcome residents and visitors back for the summer season with a “First Splash” at 11:30 a.m. Opening day festivities will include music from a live DJ, local food truck favorites, swag giveaways, and family-friendly activities.

The opening caps a multi-year renovation that began in earnest in 2023, when the Park City Council allocated funding to overhaul the PC MARC’s outdoor aquatic facilities based on community feedback. The final design added an eight-lane lap pool, zero-entry access, a slide, and a rock climbing wall. The council approved a construction contract with Northridge Construction in March 2025, and work got underway that April.

The city will also hold a one-day-only summer pass sale during business hours on June 6. All three-month facility passes, including youth, adult, and senior, will be 20% off for opening day only.
