WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — Wasatch County Parks and Recreation is warning the community about a ticket scam targeting fans ahead of the very popular upcoming Demolition Derby and Mountain Valley Stampede Rodeo.
Several third-party ticket resellers have posted tickets for the events on their websites, charging up to triple the face value, according to county officials. Officials said these sellers do not yet have any tickets in their possession.
Parks and Recreation said it still has plenty of tickets available, which will go on sale Monday, June 15, exclusively on its official website.
Officials emphasized that wasatchparksandrec.com is the only legitimate source for purchasing tickets to the events. Residents are urged to avoid third-party sites and buy directly through the county to avoid falling victim to the scam.
