COALVILLE, Utah — Tickets are now on sale for two of the Summit County Fair’s biggest arena events, the PRCA Rodeo and Demolition Derby, as the county’s long-running summer tradition prepares to return to Coalville.
The 2026 Summit County Fair is scheduled for Aug. 1-8 at the Summit County Fairgrounds, with free general admission and ticketed entry for select events. Held annually during the first full week of August, the fair is described by organizers as a traditional small-town county fair featuring rodeo events, a carnival midway, home arts, flowers, vegetables, food vendors, and community exhibits.
The Demolition Derby opens the fair’s major arena lineup at 7 p.m. Aug. 1 in the Large Arena. Tickets are $24, with fence-line seating in the first three rows listed at $22. Every person, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the arena. The event runs rain or shine, and all sales are final.

One of the fair’s most popular events, the derby features drivers competing until the last operational vehicle remains. This year’s event will also include the Kids Power Wheels Demo Derby during intermission.
The PRCA Rodeo is scheduled for 8 p.m. Aug. 6, 7, and 8 in the Large Arena. Adult tickets are $15, with adult fence-line seating listed at $13. Tickets for children ages 4 to 14 are $9, with child fence-line seating listed at $7. Children 3 and under are free.

The rodeo lineup includes bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, barrel racing, tie-down roping, team roping, and steer wrestling. Organizers say the event brings national-level competitors, veteran circuit cowboys, and emerging rodeo talent to Coalville.
Beyond the ticketed events, the fair schedule includes 4-H and home arts entries, rabbit and poultry shows, youth archery, Little Buckaroo Rodeo events, food booths, commercial vendors, beer, wine, and spirits garden hours, carnival rides, entertainment, the Junior Livestock Sale, and the fair parade on Main Street in Coalville.
The fair’s roots in Coalville are part of its larger role as one of Summit County’s signature community gatherings. The fair has been held in Coalville since the late 1940s and has long served as a place to showcase livestock and farming traditions while bringing residents and visitors together.
The Summit County Fairgrounds are located at 202 E. Park Road in Coalville. Tickets for the PRCA Rodeo and Demolition Derby are available through the Summit County Fair website.
