UDOT warns of travel impacts as repaving prompts lane closures on I-80

PARK CITY, Utah — The Utah Department of Transportation gave an update on I-80 repaving projects and warned drivers of several stretches where lane closures will impact travel times.

Projects and impacts

MP 126.5-129 (2300 East to Stillman Bridge)
Down to one lane 9pm-6am weeknights

MP 136-133 (Lambs to Mountain Dell)
WB lane closed 7pm-6am each night

MP 143-139 (Jeremy Ranch to Parleys Summit)
Two WB lanes closed 6am-1pm Wed & Thurs

The construction is part of the Summit County & Parleys Canyon Improved projects. Over the next two years spanning 12 projects, UDOT crews will replace four miles of pavement, improve or replace eight bridges, improve three intersections, and construct the new bus rapid transit system on SR-224.
