Summit Bike Share rolls into 2026 season

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — Summit Bike Share is back for the 2026 season, giving residents and visitors another way to move through Park City, the Snyderville Basin, and other parts of Summit County without getting behind the wheel.

The county announced this week that the e-bike share program is officially open, with early-bird pricing available for season passes purchased by May 15. Summit County’s website says the program is designed for people commuting to work, heading to a restaurant, or using the system for recreation.

Summit Bike Share offers several pricing options. A pay-as-you-go ride costs $7 to unlock a bike and includes 60 minutes of ride time, with additional time charged at 25 cents per minute. A two-hour pass costs $12 and includes 120 minutes of ride time with no unlock fee.

Season passes are available to locals for $99 through May 15. After that, the regular season pass price is $150. Season passes include no unlock fee and 120 minutes of ride time per day, with additional time charged at 25 cents per minute.

The program also offers an Access Pass for community members experiencing financial hardship. The discounted membership is available to people enrolled in SNAP or Medicaid and costs $7 per month, according to Summit Bike Share. The Access Pass includes 120 minutes of ride time and no unlock fee.

Summit Bike Share launched in 2017 as the country’s first all-electric bike share system. Summit County now operates the system, which includes stations around the Park City and Kimball Junction area.
