Poison Creek Trail detour in place as construction continues on The Mine at City Park

PARK CITY, Utah — A portion of the Poison Creek Trail in City Park is closed to all users through June 19 due to ongoing construction of The Mine at City Park.

City staff advised trail users to plan ahead and use the designated detour route, which puts users onto Park Avenue and Sullivan Road, during the closure.

Other City Park amenities outside the closure area will remain accessible, according to city staff.

Park City Municipal broke ground on the $19 million community center in City Park in August 2025. The new center will replace the old building, which dates back to the early 1980s.

The project is anticipated to be completed in December 2026.
