PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Soccer Club (PCSC) announced the appointment of Anthony DiCicco as General Manager on Wednesday, April 8.
A fixture in the Park City soccer community for nearly a decade — both as a coach with PCSC and as Head Coach of the Park City High School programs — DiCicco steps into this leadership role to oversee the club’s strategic operations and long-term growth.
Prior to his time in Park City, DiCicco coached at the FIFA U20 World Cup with Papua New Guinea, and at the collegiate level with UCLA, the University of Vermont, and Trinity College (CT). He has extensive experiences in the business of soccer serving as the Director of Soccer for AstroTurf and the CEO of the SoccerPlus Companies — a national club consulting company — and the SoccerPlus Education Center — a 501(3)c not-for-profit organization).
“Park City Soccer Club is a special organization in a unique community, built with care and commitment over the past 30 years,” DiCicco said in a statement. “By cultivating an environment where players, coaches, and parents can become the best version of themselves, we have the opportunity to be a model for grassroots youth sports organizations nationwide.”
DiCicco is excited to step up, take command, and commit to carrying out the PCSC vision of remaining a thriving, independent soccer club right here in his backyard.
“Together, we ARE Park City Soccer, our community is strong, and our future is bright!” he said.
DiCicco will carry on with his current coaching roles for the remainder of the spring season and Joel Person will continue his vital work as PCSC’s interim technical director.
“We believe deeply in the unique vision of PCSC,” said PCSC Board Co-Chair Dominic Burchett in a statement. “With the strength of our current membership, our talented coaching staff, and [DiCicco] in this leadership position, we are incredibly excited about the direction we are heading.”
Since 1994, Park City Soccer Club has served over 500 players, prioritizing coaching, character development, and accessibility through bilingual outreach and robust scholarships.
