PARK CITY, Utah — The Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Winter Games 2026 may be happening over 5,000 miles away, but the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation is helping Team USA supporters get in on the action from Park City.
With support from the Alf Engen Ski Museum and the Park City Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau, the foundation is hosting an Olympic watch party for the community at the Utah Olympic Park Plaza. The event will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6.
The party will celebrate the opening of the Games with a big-screen watch party, music, and winter-themed festivities. There will be food trucks, firepits, prizes, a beer garden, and a live DJ.
In addition to the watch party, the Alf Engen Ski Museum will host daily Olympic-themed activations from February 13–16 designed for visitors of all ages. These will include hands-on crafts, interactive activities, and photo opportunities that celebrate Utah’s Olympic legacy.
