From moonlit hikes to sushi making: Pendry Park City’s fall and early winter lineup

PARK CITY, Utah — Pendry Park City has lined up a solid roster of seasonal activities for fall and winter, ranging from outdoor adventures to family-friendly events and culinary experiences.
October Events
The Park City Wine Festival runs Oct. 2-4, featuring over 100 wineries. Pendry hosts the Grand Tasting and a special dinner at KITA restaurant.
Full Moon Hike on Oct. 6 from 8 to 11 p.m. A local guide leads guests on an evening trek to a high alpine lake, with the full moon lighting the way across the mountain trails. The three-hour experience includes snacks and drinks and costs $100 per person. Reservations are required at (435) 962-6461.
The Pendry Plaza Film Series will screen Halloween movies outdoors on Oct. 10-11 and 17-18, starting at 6 p.m. Free admission includes seating and movie snacks; bring your own blanket.
Halloween in the Village takes place on Oct. 11 from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Pendry Plaza. The free event includes trick-or-treating, pumpkin carving, costume contests, and warm cider for hotel guests and locals.
Ongoing Activities
Sushi-Making at KITA runs every Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. starting Sept. 25. Learn sushi basics in a hands-on class that includes your own maki mat and chef’s hat to take home. $75 per person, reservations required.
S’mores Roasting happens daily from 5 to 6 p.m. on the Après Pendry Plaza. Resort guests get complimentary s’mores kits to enjoy by the fire pit as the sun sets behind the Wasatch mountains.
Paintbox on the Plaza brings weekend family activities every Saturday and Sunday from 4-6 p.m. Kids can participate in rotating fall-themed crafts like pumpkin carving and scavenger hunts, visit Compass Sports for details on today’s happenings. Free for resort guests, reservations suggested.
Winter Season Launch
Gondola Opening Weekend Party celebrates the ski season and new Sunrise Gondola from Nov. 21-23. The three-day event features entertainment, slopeside DJs, cocktails, and après ski activities.
Starting Nov. 21, the Après Terrace serves lunch daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., located steps from the new Sunrise Gondola for convenient mid-day dining during ski season.
