PARK CITY, Utah — Tickets are on sale for the Youth Sports Alliance’s (YSA) 45th annual JANS Winter Welcome Gala (JWW) hosted at the Stein Eriksen Lodge on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 6 p.m. to midnight. The black tie optional event will feature dinner, a silent auction, a live auction, and dancing.
JWW is a fundraising event supporting youth winter sports programs on the Wasatch Back. Each year, the YSA raises vital funds to support its seven partner clubs and after-school programs. Four hundred prominent members of the local community, the snow-sport industry, and friends from across the country mingle, dine, and bid on auction items to support teams and fund scholarships for junior athletes.
“Please join us as we gather to celebrate athletes of the past, present, and future. JANS Winter Welcome helps young athletes and students pursue their dreams and their passion for sport,” Heather Sims of YSA says. “At the Youth Sports Alliance (YSA), we believe that sport changes lives. Every child should have the opportunity to Play, Learn, Dream.”
For more information, please contact Ashley Laakso, YSA Development Director, at ashley@ysausa.org or 435-655-1065.
JANS Winter Welcome proceeds benefit the students in YSA afterschool programs and athletes training with seven partner teams, including: Figure Skating Club of Park City, Park City Ice Miners, Park City Ski & Snowboard, Park City Speedskating Club, Utah Olympic Park Skeleton & Bobsled, Wasatch Freestyle, and Wasatch Luge Club.
