PARK CITY, Utah—Park City residents and businesses should prepare for Phase II of the Main Street Water System Improvement Project, set to resume at the end of March. This phase will focus on tying individual water services and fire lines extending from 5th Street to the top of Main Street. While the mainline installation in Fall 2024 was quicker, this phase will be more detailed and time-consuming.
If your business is located within the impacted area and you plan to close for the spring, please notify Park City Municipal as soon as possible. Your input will help coordinate work schedules and minimize disruptions, email info@historicparkcityutah.com.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sidewalk Closures: This phase will require periodic sidewalk closures as crews complete individual tie-ins.
Water Shut-offs: Intermittent water shut-offs will occur. Before any disruption, affected properties will receive at least 48 hours’ notice.
Equipment Storage: At night, construction equipment will be securely stored along the shoulders of Main Street and in the Brew Pub Lot.
Business Access: Crews may need occasional access to businesses.
Noise and Traffic Impacts: Expect noise from construction machinery.
