Park City seeks teen voices for Youth Recreation Board
PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Recreation Department is seeking two high school students to serve on its Youth Recreation Advisory Board, with applications due January 24.
The board positions are open to teens aged 14-18 who reside within Park City School District boundaries. Selected members will serve one-year terms and meet monthly to provide input on local recreation programs and facilities.
Board members receive complimentary access to the PC MARC facility and program discounts. They also earn a letter of recommendation upon completing their term.
“We’re looking for passionate teens who represent diverse recreation interests to help shape the future of recreation in our community,” said Spencer Madanay, the program’s coordinator.
The advisory board meets at 5 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month. Members collaborate on projects and provide youth perspective on parks and recreation initiatives.
Interested students can apply online at parkcityrecreation.org. For more information, contact Spencer Madanay or call (435) 615-5412.
