‘Antiques Roadshow’ sets Salt Lake City stop during 30th anniversary tour
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — PBS’s “Antiques Roadshow” will make its way to Utah’s capital city this summer as part of its milestone 30th anniversary tour.
The show will film in Salt Lake City on June 3, offering locals a chance to have their family heirlooms and flea market finds appraised by leading experts.
“I look forward to every new season of Roadshow but there is something extra special about visiting Salt Lake City as part of our Season 30 tour,” said executive producer Marsha Bemko. “Celebrating three decades of making television with people across the country and their treasures as stars of the show is magical — the items might be old, but the stories never are!”
The Salt Lake City stop is one of five cities selected for the 2025 tour, which includes visits to Savannah, Georgia; St. Louis; Boothbay, Maine; and Charlevoix, Michigan.
At the event, ticketed guests can bring two items for free verbal evaluations from experts representing major auction houses and independent dealers. The specific venue in Salt Lake City will be announced in the coming weeks.
Three episodes from each city will be produced for the show’s 30th broadcast season, scheduled to air on PBS in 2026.
While admission is free, tickets must be obtained in advance through a sweepstakes that opens Jan. 13. Residents can enter for a chance to win one pair of tickets per household at PBS’s website until March 24 at 11:59 p.m. PT. A limited number of tickets will also be available through an Instagram contest running from Jan. 13 to Feb. 13.
The Emmy-nominated series reaches more than 5 million weekly viewers across television, streaming and social media platforms. Antiques Roadshow airs Mondays at 8/7c p.m. on PBS
