Four Seasons announces new Utah property in Deer Valley’s East Village

The Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts development includes a hotel with 134 rooms and two separate buildings for permanent residents: one with 55 homes above the resort and another with 68 units.

PARK CITY, Utah — Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announced Tuesday its partnership with Extell Development Company to build a resort complex that will significantly expand Deer Valley’s East Village footprint. The development includes a hotel with 134 rooms and two separate buildings for permanent residents: one with 55 homes above the resort and another with 68 units. The residential spaces will range from one-bedroom units to sprawling 7,000-square-foot homes. The project adds to the recent 3,700-acre expansion of skiable terrain that will make Deer Valley one of North America’s largest ski resorts.

“We are thrilled to bring Four Seasons to Deer Valley at an exciting time for the acclaimed destination,” said Bart Carnahan, Four Seasons’ President of Global Business Development, Portfolio Management and Residential.

The resort will feature amenities including indoor and outdoor pools with mountain views, a full-service spa with saunas, steam rooms and whirlpools, and a complete fitness center. Four on-site dining venues will include a ski-in/ski-out lounge with an outdoor terrace and fireplace for après-ski gatherings.

Beyond winter activities, guests will have access to an ice rink and indoor sports court, while event spaces include a ballroom, three meeting rooms, and an outdoor terrace. Guest rooms will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies, and in-room fireplaces.

The project represents a significant expansion of Park City’s luxury tourism offerings, though developers have not disclosed the cost of the development or the timeline for completion. The development will be part of Deer Valley’s new East Village area, which will include additional retail spaces and restaurants.
