Holiday harmonies: Park City schools present December concert series
PARK CITY, Utah — The holiday season provides the perfect time for Park City students to show off what they have learned and entertain the public. This year you are invited to attend four free performances in December at the Eccles Center showcasing Park City students. Whether you are a parent or just curious, Park City’s music and performance programs have been winning awards for decades. Come cheer on this year’s performers.
Concerts are offered on four evenings Dec. 5 through Dec. 13
All performances are free and open to the public. The concerts are scheduled to last one to two hours. Join the performers at the Eccles Center, 1750 Kearns Blvd, Park City on the following dates:
Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m. PCHS Winter Jazz Concert
This jazz concert features the members of both the Park City High School (PCHS) and Treasure Mountain Junior High School (TMJH) Jazz bands.
Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m. Winter Choir Concert
Both the PCHS and TMJH Choirs will be performing this evening.
Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m. Winter Band/Orchestra Concert
Come enjoy the TMJH and PCHS 8th Grade Band, 8th Grade Orchestra, Concert Band and Concert Orchestra.
Dec. 13 at 6:30 p.m. Fine Arts Showcase
This showcase features performances by the PCHS Wind Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra, Concert Choir, Philharmonic Orchestra, and the PCHS Dance Program. This showcase will also include displays from the PCHS Film Program, PCHS Photography Program, and PCHS Visual arts program.
