Park City ELKS to host event for Summit County residents aged 60+
SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — Summit County citizens aged 60 and older are invited to a free Appreciation Luncheon hosted by the Park City Elks on Saturday, November 23, from noon to 3 p.m. The event will feature music by the Swing Creek Band, followed by bingo and other gifts.
According to their website, the Elks is a “fraternal order with hundreds of thousands of members and a 150+ year history.” The order was founded to “promote and practice the four cardinal virtues of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its members; to quicken the spirit of American Patriotism and cultivate good fellowship.”
Park’s City’s Elks Lodge (No. 734) is located at 550 Main St. A free shuttle service will be available from Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church and the Senior Center to help alleviate parking congestion in Old Town.
Those interested must register by November 15 at the Park City Senior Center or online HERE. Email 734events@gmail.com or call 801.613.2329 with any questions.
