As an atmospheric river aims itself at northern California and Oregon, some models show the system moving north toward Idaho and possibly skirting Utah, but many forecasters agree Utah will pick up between 10-15″ in the heart of the Wasatch and slightly less for Park City and Deer Valley.

Snowfall will begin on Saturday evening and last into Monday night. Powderchasers is calling for more snow arriving early Tuesday morning with unknown totals.

Temperatures will remain relatively mild until Sunday when colder air will bring snow levels to the foothills of Salt Lake City.

A University of Utah weather ensemble snows snow totals just above 20″ between November 20-30.
