Police log: Methamphetamine, marijuana and trespassing

Incident: DUI
Summit County Deputies responded to a traffic accident on Silver Creek Drive. During the crash investigation, one of the involved male drivers showed signs of drug-related impairment. He agreed to participate in standardized field sobriety tests, which he performed poorly on. The man then consented to a vehicle search when deputies found user amounts of methamphetamine and numerous items of drug paraphernalia. The man was taken into custody for DUI and several drug-related offenses.
Friday, Oct. 25
Incident: Trespassing
Police responded to a report of trespassing on Beehive Drive. When police arrived at the scene, the subject was intoxicated and refused to leave the premises, so deputies took the subject into custody after being cleared at the hospital.
Sunday, Oct. 27
Incident: Drugs / Warrant of Arrest
Deputies served a warrant on Parleys Loop. While serving the warrant, deputies observed marijuana was observed in plain sight at the residence. The subject was arrested and transported to the Summit County Jail without incident.
Incident Nature: Warrant of Arrest
Deputies responded to an injury accident at North Bitner Ranch Rd. Upon talking to the passenger, she mentioned having warrants out for her arrest. A record check was conducted, and the warrants were found. The female was taken to Park City Medical to be treated for her injuries, and upon release, she was transported to the Summit County Jail.
