New 24/7 online platform to support student mental health in Park City
PARK CITY, Utah — Park City School District, in collaboration with the Cook Center for Human Connection, as part of their We All Belong campaign, is introducing a new mental health and wellness resource for families and staff. Starting today, district families and staff will have free access to ParentGuidance.org, a 24/7 online platform designed to support student mental health through a range of resources.
ParentGuidance.org partners with schools and communities nationwide, offering tools to empower families and help children thrive. The platform provides users with a variety of services, including one-on-one parent coaching, over 30 mental health series seminars, online lessons led by licensed therapists, and an “Ask a Therapist” forum.
“By offering essential resources and coaching opportunities to our parents and employees, we empower them to excel in their roles,” said Caleb Fine, interim superintendent of Park City School District. “This proactive approach not only enhances their own well-being but also strengthens their ability to cultivate a sense of belonging and academic success among our students and within our community.”
Anne Brown, president and CEO of the Cook Center for Human Connection, praised the partnership. “We are proud to collaborate with the Park City School District to benefit their families and school staff. This shows that they truly care about the role of parents in their children’s emotional well-being,” she said. “By providing education, resources, and direct support to families, we look forward to helping the people who love and care for their children most: the parents.”
Park City School District is among 360 districts across 46 states partnering with the Cook Center, extending access to these mental health services to more than 3.3 million families.
