PARK CITY, Utah — McPolin Elementary School celebrated its second annual Red Ribbon Week on Sept. 23, featuring demonstrations from various first responder groups.
Principal Angie Dufner said the event, organized by School Resource Officer Art Boxall, brought together representatives from the DEA, National Guard, and local emergency services.
“It’s a great opportunity for kids to connect with first responders,” Dufner said. “They can see all the wonderful things they’re doing and know that they’re there to help them.”
