Meet your summer softball, volleyball rec league champs

PARK CITY, Utah — As the summer ends, so ends the Park City Recreation‘s adult sports co-ed league programs with the big, bragging-rights “W” for locals who played in the softball and volleyball tournaments.

The winning softball teams were:

  • Monday Champions: Fall Line
  • Tuesday Champions: Bear Fights II
  • Wednesday Champions: OTR
  • Thursday Champions: Minerstown
“Congratulations to all of our 2024
Summer Softball Champions!” wrote PC Rec on Facebook. “Your hard work, teamwork, and dedication made this season unforgettable. Thank you to every team that participated, umpires, scorekeepers, parks crew and administrative staff that made this season possible – We can’t wait to see you back on the field next year!”

  • Competitive League Champions: Deep Dish

I've lived in Park City for 30 years but right off the starting line, my journalism professors expressed plaudits after class for writing more so about the small-town sports in the surrounding mountains than the urban updates they assigned.
