Park City to celebrate completion of Fresh Market Bus Stop Improvement Project July 9

The event will take place at 1760 Park Avenue in Park City at 4 p.m.

PARK CITY, Utah — The public is invited to celebrate the completion of the Fresh Market Bus Stop Improvement Project with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, July 9.

The Fresh Market Bus Stop Improvement Project began late last year. Upgrades to two of Summit County’s busiest bus stops include new ADA-compliant bus shelters and solar-powered displays.

“Park City recently secured a series of federal, county, and local grants to improve bus stops throughout the community by enhancing amenities and ADA access,” said the event page. “Please join us as we celebrate the completion of one of our flagship bus stops. Ribbon cutting and remarks will be followed by light refreshments and giveaways.”

The City has asked that attendees consider riding Park City transit, walking, or biking to the event. Those requiring ADA accommodations can email linda.jager@parkcity.org.
