Empowering girls: Lindsey Vonn Foundation Gala in Park City to raise funds for scholarships and camps

PARK CITY, Utah — The Lindsey Vonn Foundation (LVF) is set to host its annual fundraising gala, “Party in the USA,” on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, at the Utah Olympic Park. The event aims to support the foundation’s mission of empowering girls from underserved communities through scholarships and the #STRONGgirls camp programs.

The gala offers various sponsorship opportunities, ranging from the Premier Sponsor level at $100,000 to the Bronze Sponsor level at $5,000. Sponsors will receive benefits such as VIP tickets, exclusive meet-and-greet sessions with Lindsey Vonn, and prominent recognition on the foundation’s website and gala materials.

The Lindsey Vonn Foundation provides educational and sports-based scholarships to girls aged 10 to 18 who demonstrate grit and passion but lack the resources to pursue enrichment programs or sports-related activities. Since its inception in 2017, the foundation has awarded over $1 million in scholarships.

In addition to scholarships, the LVF hosts Strong Girls camps designed to support girls’ mental and physical health. These camps incorporate Lindsey Vonn’s personal story of overcoming adversity and focus on helping girls find their voice, make healthy choices, and realize their potential through various lessons and exercises.
