Xfinity outage leaves thousands of customers without internet in Salt Lake City, Kimball Junction

The outages were first reported just after 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 23

PARK CITY, Utah — Thousands of customers throughout Utah have been affected by Xfinity internet outages that have spanned from Sunday afternoon well into Monday.

101-500 outages were reported in the Kimball Junction area, and over 8,000 outages were reported in the Salt Lake City area.

Xfinity is currently investigating these outages, the cause of which have been listed on the company’s website as “network damage.” There is currently no estimated time of service restoration.
