Park City bus stop improvements are underway with multiyear project

PARK CITY, Utah — Park City has secured multiple grants from federal, state, and county sources to improve bus stops across the community. The initiative aims to enhance ADA access and add amenities at approximately 72 bus stops over three phases in the coming years.

What’s happening?

The comprehensive plan includes:

– Phase One: Construction starts in summer 2024 at 19 identified locations. Click here to view the map for specific sites.
– Phase Two: Design and construction scheduled between 2024-2025. Locations are currently being determined.
– Phase Three: Improvements slated to begin in 2026 or later, with locations yet to be identified.

Why it matters

These improvements will make public transportation more accessible and comfortable for all community members, particularly those with disabilities. The enhanced amenities will provide a better overall experience for bus users.
