WASATCH COUNTY, Utah – On Sunday June 2nd a fatal motorcycle crash claimed the life of a 31-year-old man near mile marker 16 on Route 189 according to the Utah Department of Public Safety.
A pair of motorcycles were traveling Northbound on Route 189 through Provo Canyon in Wasatch County at approximately 2:21 on Sunday afternoon when one of the vehicles inexplicably lost control and collided with the center median guard rail.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was thrown from the motorcycle as it continued to travel roughly 200 yards up the hill.

The driver stained fatal injuries and died at the scene. Northbound traffic was closed for the investigation and cleanup.
