Create PC summer/fall exhibition calls for artists
PARK CITY, Utah — The 2024 CREATE PC Gallery Summer/Fall Exhibition is expected to open on Friday, June 28, with a launch party from 5-8 p.m. The exhibit will run from June-November. Applications are due by May 17 and selections will be made by May 28. Artwork must be dropped off ready for installation before June 21.
The CREATE PC Gallery will be creatively activated with open studio nights and gallery stroll events. Artists will have the opportunity to sell artwork at CREATE PC, with options to apply to future exhibits and opportunities.
Artist eligibility
Eligible applicants must be 2D or 3D fine artists living in Summit County. Fine artists must have a personal and cohesive collection of artwork ready to display and sell. For this program, the Arts Council is seeking fine artists showcasing artistic excellence within a body of work. This could include a mastery of skills and techniques, communication of unique vision or perspective, and professional approaches to process and presentation.
Location, hours, fees and benefits
Create PC Gallery is located on the first floor of 1500 Kearns Boulevard, F110 in Park City. It is open Wednesday through Sunday 12-6 p.m. and closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Artists selected for participation pay $125/month for exhibition space plus a 15% revenue share of artwork sales. These amounts will be prorated depending on the dates/run of the show.
The Arts Council will be the single point of sale, selling artwork on consignment on behalf of individual artists. It will also provide exhibition space, inventory and sales management, curatorial and art handling services, community events and openings, marketing and promotion of the Create PC Gallery and all participating artists.
