Willow Creek Pond to remain closed through Jan. 21

PARK CITY, Utah — Basin Recreation announced today that the Willow Creek Pond will remain closed to ice skaters through Sunday, Jan. 21.

“The large amounts of snow received, followed by warmer temperatures, insulated the ice and began melting the surface,” said a statement from Basin Recreation. “Stay tuned for another conditions report next week!”

The pond opened on Jan. 2 this year for daily ice skating from dawn to dusk.
