PARK CITY, Utah — The Utah Department of Transportation has plans to close the following mountain routes in anticipation of avalanche danger tonight.
US-189 (Provo Canyon): will close at 10 pm on 1/13/24 until 12 pm (noon) on 1/14/24.
SR-92 (American Fork Canyon): will close at 8 pm on 1/13/24 until 2 pm on 1/14/24.
SR-92 (Alpine Loop/Provo Canyon adjacent): will close from 10 pm on 1/13/24 until 8 am on 1/14/24.
US-89 (Logan Canyon): will close at 8 pm on 1/13/24 until 9 am on 1/14/24.
SR-190 (Big Cottonwood Canyon): will close at 11 pm on 1/13/24 until 8 am on 1/14/24.
SR-210 (Little Cottonwood Canyon): will close at 9 pm on 1/13/24 no ETO. Stay tuned for updates.
The National Weather service says to expect 11 to 17 inches tonight and another 5 to 9 inches tomorrow with 37 MPH winds.
