SNAPPED: Ice wave at Rockport State Park

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — On Friday the Utah Division of Water Resources shared this photo of an ice wave taken by R. Hall at Rockport State Park.

The phenomena pictured could potentially be an ice shove, defined by the National Weather Service as an on-shore ice push caused by wind, currents, or changes in temperature.
