Abode Luxury Rentals wins the Zest for Zero Award and fulFILLed Lifestyle Co. wins the People’s Choice Award
PARK CITY, Utah — On Tuesday evening, Park City Mountain received the Green Business of the Year Award, presented by Councilman Roger Armstrong, at the Green Business of the Year awards ceremony at Deer Valley Cafe.
Among other actions taken this year, Park City Mountain Resort committed to Zero Net Operating Footprint by 2030, invested in automated snowmaking systems to maximize optimal weather windows and operates an extensive recycling and composting program.
The Zest for Zero Award, presented by Councilman Ryan Dickey, went to Abode Luxury Rentals. Abode initiatives included supplying each residence with a recycle bin and recycling guidelines, installing water-saving ‘tank banks’ in older toilets, and creating a ‘Green Team’ that provides sustainability training to staff. Finally, the People’s Choice Award, presented by Andy Hecht, went to fulFILLed Lifestyle Co., which simplifies low-waste living by offering refillable and package-free products.
