Park City Ice Miners aim to freeze out the national competition in the Grizz Cup at the PC Ice Arena
PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Ice Miners are playing in the 18th annual Grizz Cup Hockey Tournament, featuring 140 teams broken into 20 divisions and over 300 games. Some of the games will be held at the Park City Ice Arena.
Utah Sports Commission writes that it’s, “One of the largest youth tournaments west of the Mississippi.”
The USA Hockey-sanctioned tournament dates are Jan. 12-15.
Categories are Girls U12 and Co-ed 9U thru 18U: AA, A, B.
Teams have traveled to Utah to play from the following states: Colo., Calif., Ariz., Wash., Alaska, Wyo., N.M., Utah, Mont., Ill., Texas, Idaho and Nev.
OTHER VENUES THROUGHOUT THE SALT LAKE VALLEY: Cottonwood Heights Ice Arena, County Ice Center, Salt Lake City Sports Complex, Acord Ice Center, Peaks Ice Arena, Weber County Ice Sheet and the South Davis Recreation Center.
