Park City Lacrosse Holiday Tree Pickup fundraiser
The Park City Lacrosse team is offering a convenient and eco-friendly way for residents to dispose of their Christmas trees this holiday season.
Residents can schedule a pickup on one of the three available weekends: Dec. 30 through 31, Jan. 6-7, or Jan. 13. Trees should be free of decorations and lights, placed at the curb by the driveway by 9 a.m. on the Saturday of the scheduled weekend.
The pickup service is available for a donation of $40 per tree, with an additional charge of $50 for trees over 10 feet tall.
Service areas include a wide range of neighborhoods throughout Park City, from Pinebrook to Promontory and the Colony, but unfortunately, the Jordanelle neighborhoods are excluded.
If you want to keep your tree, the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources said it “can benefit wildlife well into next summer or even for a couple of years, depending on what you do with it.” Learn more here.
