Breaking: Guardsman Pass closes for winter

PARK CITY, Utah — The Utah Department of Transportation made the call today Nov. 7 to close Guardsman Pass at 2:00 p.m. The seasonal road closure will remain in place until sometime in the spring.

The road is closed from the SR 190 winter gate to SR 224 and Pine Canyon on the Summit and Wasatch County side.

With no plowing operations in place during the winter months, the closure is essential to protect the safety of all travelers.
