Wasatch County schools asks public’s help in naming new high school, mascot

The new high school is slated to open in fall 2026

WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — Wasatch County School District has asked the community to help create the identity of its new high school.

A survey released by the school district asks respondents to suggest a name, mascot and new school colors.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held on May 23. The high school is expected to open in fall 2026.

Wasatch County School District currently encompasses an online school, five elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school and one alternative high school campus.

According to the district website, student enrollment in grades 9-12 is expected to reach 3,231 by fall of 2026.
