Calves killed in Coalville semi rollover

No people were injured in the accident but three of 80 calves in a Coalville semi truck rollover were killed

COALVILLE, Utah — Three calves were killed in a semi truck rollover in Coalville yesterday.

According to a statement from the North Summit Fire Service District, the Summit County 911 Center started to receive reports of a semi truck rollover at 100 North and Industrial Park Road at approximately 3:10 p.m.

The North Summit Fire Service District, Summit County Ambulance, Summit County Sheriff’s Office and Utah Highway Patrol responded to the scene. No people were injured in the accident, but three of the 80 calves the truck was carrying were killed.

The Summit County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the incident.
