Fall storms slated for Park City this week
PARK CITY, Utah — Rain and thunderstorms are likely throughout the rest of this week, according to a forecast from the National Weather Service.
Tonight there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. Conditions are expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 46. West southwest wind 6 to 10 mph becoming south after midnight.
On Wednesday, there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7 a.m., then a chance of showers between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 10 a.m. Conditions are expected to be partly sunny, with a high near 71. South wind 8 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
On Thursday, there is a chance of showers before 7 a.m., then a slight chance of rain between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Conditions are expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 67. South southeast wind 7 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
On Friday, there is a chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 7 a.m., then rain likely between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. High temperatures will be near 53 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Clear weather is expected throughout the weekend with high temperatures in the 60s.
