High stakes, high spirits: Park City Sunrise Rotary targets world record
PARK CITY, Utah- Get ready to raise the shot glasses as Park City Sunrise Rotary Club and High West Distillery bring back the much-anticipated seventh annual Park City Sunrise Shot Ski on Saturday, October 21, at 2 p.m. The heart of Park City’s Historic Main Street will come alive with this festive fall tradition.
Last year, the event set a record by serving a 2,800-foot-long shot ski, spanning over half a mile and bringing together 1,340 people using 528 skis. Not only did it create unforgettable moments, but it also raised over $40,000 for the Park City Sunrise Rotary Club grant program. The stakes are even higher this year as the organizers aim to host 1,360 participants and raise $50,000.
“We are so grateful to our generous community who help make the beloved Park City Sunrise Shot Ski such a fun, memorable event year after year,” said Park City Sunrise Rotary Club member Connie Nelson in a press release. “Together, we’re aiming to break last year’s records and raise $50,000 to support our local grant programs and fuel big ideas from our innovative, resourceful Park City residents.”
As the presenting sponsor, High West Distillery will generously fill all glasses with their signature High West Double Rye whiskey. Your $25 ticket secures your spot on the shot ski and includes a token to enjoy a High West specialty drink at the official after-party site: High West itself.
All proceeds from this event will directly benefit the Park City Sunrise Rotary Club’s Grant Program, which supports 20 community groups.
