Going to the Kimball Arts Festival? Here’s everything you need to know about transportation.

PARK CITY, Utah — The 2023 Park City Kimball Arts Festival will take place later this week from August 4-6.

Organizers have asked that attendees assist in reducing congestion and ensuring a safe environment by carpooling, taking the bus, biking, or walking to the event.

Plan ahead and stay informed about real-time emergency and transportation updates by texting “PCEVENTS” to 888777.

Parking and road closures:

From August 4 at 3 a.m. through August 7 at midnight, Main Street, Heber Avenue, Swede Alley, and Swede Alley remaining surface lots will be closed to parking and traffic. Transportation access will be restricted in the Old Town area throughout the event.

Free parking and free transit:

  • Richardson Flat- Free parking with free transit to/from Old Town with a 10-minute frequency during event hours.
  • Park City School District (Kearns Boulevard)- Free parking with free transit to/from Old Town.
  • Park City Mountain Resort- Free parking with free transit to/from Old Town.
  • Snow Park, Deer Valley Resort (Lots 5 and 6)- Free parking with free transit to/from Old Town Saturday, August 5, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and Sunday, August 6, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

**No parking after 3 p.m. due to concerts.

Paid parking: China Bridge parking structure

  • August 4- $8/hour from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. (maximum $35). Standard rates after 9 p.m.
  • August 5-6- $8/hour from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. (maximum rate of $35). Standard rates apply after 6 p.m.
  • Private parking lots available throughout Old Town.

Taxi drop-off and loading area:

  • South Marsac Lot- Friday, August 4, beginning at 8 a.m. until Sunday, August 6 at 10 p.m.
