Closure on US 40 southeast of Heber today for controlled blast

HEBER, Utah — U.S. 40 is slated for a road closure a few miles southeast of Heber today at 2 p.m. for a controlled blast.
According to a statement from the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), the blast should last approximately five minutes.
“We do not anticipate any debris to land on US-40, this is just a safety precaution with minimal delay to traffic,” said a statement from UDOT.
