Utah veterinarians in high demand
PARK CITY, Utah — Utah is one of the top 10 states when it comes to Google searches related to veterinarians, according to recent findings from Petlab, where Utah has 1,179 monthly searches per 100,000 citizens.
In the recent analysis conducted by PetLab, experts in canine supplementation, an investigation was carried out on Google’s top ten search terms related to animal hospitals and veterinarian care. The study assessed the number of monthly searches in each state and compared it to the population size to establish the average number of searches per 100,000 residents.
The findings revealed that Colorado has the highest demand for veterinarians. An average of 75,927 monthly vet-related searches corresponds to approximately 1,300 searches per 100,000 citizens. These results demonstrate the significant need for veterinary services in Colorado, highlighting the importance of this profession in the state.
“This study has unveiled interesting trends about the veterinary demand across different US states. The high number of searches in states like Colorado and Michigan underscores a greater demand for veterinarian services here than in other states,” said Christopher Masanto, co-founder and CEO of Petlab, in a press release. “These findings highlight not only the pivotal role of vets but also the reliance on digital means in finding pet care.”
