Park City’s women’s 9-hole golf league rallies for a cure

PARK CITY, Utah — Park City women’s nine-hole golf league invites all residents and visitors to “Rally for the Cure,” an event that supports local health and cancer charities on Tuesday, July 25, at the Park City Golf Club on Thaynes Canyon Drive.

In its 27th year, the Rally raises funds for local health and cancer charities, including People’s Health Clinic, the Image Reborn Foundation, and the Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Festivities include an opportunity drawing of more than 30 donated baskets featuring themes from picnics to spa treatments to golf outings, including rounds donated by Jeremy Ranch Golf Club, Park Meadows Country Club, and Black Desert Resorts.

Companies and individuals who choose to sponsor the event will be featured on a sign at the tee boxes. “Hands of Hope” will also be available to purchase to honor friends and family who have experienced cancer.

Last year, the Rally raised $12,000. Over 200 women participate in the nine-hole league, Utah’s largest ladies’ league.
