On Mondays, we hike—Wild Women Mondays with Stio and Wasatch Adventure Guides

PARK CITY, Utah — If you’re looking to expand your Park City area trail repertoire and meet new friends, you need to join in on the free Monday night fun. Sponsored by Stio, each Monday throughout the summer is ladies’ (transgender, cisgender, and non-binary folk) night, open to all with any ability or experience level and led by Wasatch Adventure Guides (WAG).

Each week groups of gals gather at 5:30 at the designated trailhead for an hour to hour and a half hike. Wag has 17 guides on roster to lead these hikes.

“We’ve been getting a great turnout, anywhere from seven to 12 clients,” said Molly Henme with Wasatch Adventure Guides. “It was our seventh week this past Monday, and we’ve been hiking various trails always in the park city vicinity. Specifically, we’ve done Daly Canyon, Dawn’s Trail out of Park City Mountain Resort, and Rosebud Heaven out of Canyon Village. This past week we did Skyridge Peak over by the Jordanelle.”

The featured trail for Monday, July 31, is the Lupine Trail to Bloods Lake, which should take 1.5-2 hours to complete. Hikers should bring good hiking shoes, water bottles, sunscreen, and bug spray.

Those interested will sign up online under the events tab on the Wasatch Adventure Guides website. Trailheads vary, so check out WAG’s Instagram page for updates, or call 435-200-4885 to verify the week’s meeting location.

Bonus: hikers receive a 25% off coupon to shop Stio apparel at the Park City Mountain Studio®.
