Summer activities launched at Snowbasin Resort

UTAH— Snowbasin Resort, located just over an hour from Park City, has exciting news for outdoor enthusiasts, as they have announced their longest summer operations.

With the resort open on Saturdays and Sundays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for gondola-assisted hiking, visitors can now enjoy the magnificent scenery of the mountains throughout the weekend.

Not only that, but dog owners can bring along their furry friends on a leash. This addition makes Snowbasin one of the few dog-friendly resorts in Utah.

“Snowbasin is a stand-alone mountain with 3,000 isolated acres across the mountain,” said Kayla McFarland, PR and communications manager for Snowbasin Resort. “We have 20 trials spanning 26 miles and partner with the US Forest Service, so there is trail access across the 3,000 acres. Our views are Swiss Alps-like, with a peak at the top that kind of looks like the Matterhorn; we have very distinct cliffs and features.”
