Fatal accident on Canyons Golf property
PARK CITY, Utah — On Friday, June 2, 2023, a single-rider accident occurred on the Canyons Golf property resulting in an on-site death. The man’s identity has not been released. A statement from a spokesperson for Park City Mountain follows:
“Park City Mountain regretfully confirms a serious incident that took place at Canyons Golf on Friday, June 2, 2023, involving an adult male e-biker.
Park City Mountain golf course maintenance staff responded to an incident at Canyons Golf at approximately 8:45 a.m. They contacted emergency services and began life-saving efforts. After further emergency care and evaluation, the male was pronounced deceased on-site by AirMed.”
“Park City Mountain, Canyons Golf and the entire Vail Resorts family extend our deepest sympathy and support to this individual’s family and friends,” said Deirdra Walsh, vice president and chief operating officer of Park City Mountain.
A portion of the course was closed temporarily on June 2. As of June 3, Canyons Golf is fully open.
