Backcountry expands to Northern California

PALO ALTO, Calif. — Utah’s Backcountry or Backcountry.com continues to expand its retail presence with the launch of their newest retail store in Palo Alto, California. This location is technically in neighboring Menlo Park, in the Stanford Shopping Center, a short distance from Stanford University.

This is Backcountry’s 7th retail location (and 8th retail shop, with Marty’s and Backcountry both in Kimball Junction). The Utah based company has traditionally focused on direct-to-consumer, e-commerce, retail solutions. With a shift to more traditional brick and mortar retail shops, Backcountry has stores in Northern California, Chicago, Bozeman, Salt Lake, Park City, Seattle, and Boulder.

Washington, DC and Los Angeles are expected to launch Backcountry retail shops in the near future.
