Utah Olympic Park adds new Action Tower to its summer activity lineup

PARK CITY, Utah — The Utah Olympic Park (UOP) summer public season of activities will begin on May 26. The organization will unveil its newest feature offering, the Action Tower. 

Patrick Rosevear, the UOP public programs director, told TownLift, ““We are excited for the addition of the Action Tower to our summer activity lineup to better serve our youngest visitors at Utah Olympic Park. Kids ages two to 10 can experience coasting down the extreme tubing lane, leaping onto the airbag jumps, testing their skills on a mini climbing wall or taking an easy ride down the giant slide.”

The UOP is a United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC). Training Site. It was the venue for the Bobsled, Luge, Skeleton, Nordic combined, and Ski Jumping events during the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Games.

On offer for summer public activities, aside from the Cafe, the Alf Engen Ski Museum/Salt Lake 2002 Olympics Museum,  the Park Guided Tours, the Flying Ace Allstars Freestyle Shows, and the Gift Shop are:

“The Action Tower will entertain, challenge and inspire youth participants.” Brennan Smith, UOP Marketing and Multimedia Manager told TownLift.

The facility buildings at the UOP are also available to rent for private catered celebrations such as wedding rehearsal dinners, graduation parties, family reunions, business meetings, or corporate retreats.
