Three Park City schools to participate in Bike to School Day on Friday, May 5

PARK CITY, Utah — Students can receive free snacks, drinks, and giveaways by riding their bikes to school on Friday, May 5.

Parley’s Park Elementary, Trailside Elementary, and Ecker Hill Middle School will participate in Bike to School Day, a national initiative to get kids out of the car and active on their way to school. 

“We love to see you out on your bikes! Start the day with a ride to school and receive snacks, drinks, and fun giveaways,” said a statement from Basin Recreation. “Thanks to our partners from the Wils Foundation, Summit County Health Department, and Park City Intermountain Hospital for sponsoring the event!”

Jeremy Ranch Elementary will not participate this year due to safety concerns with ongoing construction.
