Bitner Ranch Road to Silver Creek Road connector project slated to begin this summer, information session May 18
SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — The Bitner Ranch Road to Silver Creek Road connector project is scheduled to begin this summer, and is expected to bring delays to the area.
The road is intended to increase connectivity for the residents of Silver Creek and surrounding neighborhoods by giving them access to Kimball Junction and frontage roads to Jeremy Ranch without the use of I-80 or Highway 40.
The connector will also allow residents of Glenwild and Lower Glenwild access through Silver Creek to I-80 or Highway 40 without traveling to Kimball Junction.
Silver Creek residents should expect delays throughout the summer as the project begins, and the fist slow downs will be where Highway 40 meets Silver Creek Road.
Summit County will host an information session on the project at Mountain Life Church in Silver Creek this Thursday, May 18, at 6 p.m.
The project’s contractor as well as county engineers will be in attendance to discuss project plans and answer any questions.
